I’m a plant-based home cook, recipe developer, and full-time food lover. Madly Vegan is where I share simple, flavourful vegan recipes made with real, wholesome ingredients. The name is a play on my name (Maddy!) and my passion for plant-based cooking. Whether you’re fully vegan or just curious, you’re in the right place.
I created this blog to show that vegan food doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive. My recipes are inspired by everyday cravings and seasonal ingredients—think comforting soups, hearty bowls, fresh salads, and the occasional sweet treat. Most recipes are quick enough for weeknights, budget-friendly, and made with ingredients you’ll actually recognize.
I love growing my own food. Gardening gives me a deeper connection to what I cook, and I use fresh herbs and vegetables from my backyard whenever I can. There’s something special about picking basil or tomatoes straight from the garden and turning them into a simple, nourishing meal.
My plant-based journey started when I began eating more mindfully—for my health, the planet, and animals. Over time, that choice grew into a lifestyle that brings creativity into my kitchen and joy to my everyday routine. I’m not here to preach—just to share meals that feel good and taste great.
When I’m not cooking or tending to my garden, I’m probably on my yoga mat, hanging out with my husband Nick, or searching for the best oat milk latte in town.
